Wonderful DANYL 1925 1930 French art deco lamp in nickel Plated bronze in excellent quality. The finely detailed base Holds a nice shade in moulded pressed frosted glass globe With geometric details signed “DANYL 33 made in france”. 
 
Same quality and era as Muller, Degué, Holophane, Sabino or Schneider. The Danyl signature can mainly be found on high Quality vases in moulded pressed glass. Only a few different Models of Danyl-signed lampshades are known to exist. In 2007, a floor lamp with the same shade as this, sold for Approximately $4000 USD + buyer’s premium at Christies London.
