Rare original British Art Deco figural nude lamp, It was made 1933/34 by Applied Arts of Conduit St. in London and she is known as " Pirouette Fan " It retailed for 2 guineas.
 
It is mixed metal/spelter painted the coveted green turquoise. The nude figure is the main element of the lamp, of course. Secured behind her to backlight her figure, playing expertly with shadow and filtered light is a panel of  frosted glass.with a sunburst detail.
 
The base of the lamp is a stylized Art Deco geometric stepped base on which the figure stands, and flanking her on either side is a geometric stepped detail where the glass panel is secured.
